Volunteers Needed

Safe Haven Ireland is run entirely by volunteers. If you are passionate about integration, sailing, or youth work, and want to make a meaningful impact in young people’s lives, we would love to hear from you.

We have ongoing opportunities to get involved in a variety of ways:

Fundraising

Do you work for a company or non-profit organisation? Do you have experience in community or private grant applications? Can you help raise funds for our instructor incubator programme or sponsor a voyage? We will provide guidance and support to make it easy to get involved!”

Digital & Online Support

Do you have expertise in web development, digital marketing, or social media management? Support us in maintaining and improving our website, managing online platforms, and engaging with our community digitally.

Gaeilge agus Fáilte

Are you able to assist in Irish language communications? We welcome support with translations, emails, and other correspondence — cúraim fáilte romhat!

Management & Strategy

We are particularly interested in individuals with experience in Fundraising, Charity Governance, Youth Development, and PR to help support and grow our programs, secure funding, and increase awareness of our initiatives.

Other Skills & Ideas

Have a unique skill or idea? Bring your creativity! You could:

• Produce videos featuring past participants

• Facilitate team-building workshops

• Improve data collection systems

• Build or maintain boats

• Or contribute in any other way you feel could help
